If you never take a risk, then you haven't really lived!

"Risk" is a word that hides within it strong emotions, tension, and momentum. A word that can reveal a lot about everyone's personality A word that can bring ups and downs in a single moment.

Let's talk a little about risk in our lives.

Once you learn to take risks, your whole life changes. But change and growth can only take place if we have allowed ourselves to experiment and are willing to accept the impending changes that are going to come in their wake, even like a hurricane. One is never sure of anything. Everything is a risk.

How many times have you not been woken up by an imperative that made your breath quicken and your heart beat in a chaotic rhythm, motivating you to change everything in your life, to shake off the weights that keep you still, and to set a bow for the realization of your dreams, which you have kept on hold for many years?

It takes a risk to trust, to open up to someone, and to let them see in you the flaws, the cracks in your soul, and your wounds. It takes a risk to allow even yourself to pursue what you long for without the obstacles of "shoulds" and "don'ts."

It takes a risk to follow your heart.

• When you laugh, you risk being called naive. So what? The naive may even have more fun!

• When you cry, you risk being mistaken for being emotional. Emotionalism is often the path to redemption, especially through your tears!

• When you "open up" to someone, you risk getting involved. Who defines engagement as always involving risk? But is the need to believe in someone and rely on them the point?

• When you express your feelings, you risk being exposed! And why is that bad? What else do you have to show besides your true self?

• When you confide in your dreams and share your thoughts, you risk being called a fool. Since when is honesty considered nonsense?

• When you love, you risk being hurt by the other person's unresponsiveness to your feelings. But real love is an expression of affection, personal devotion, and selflessness. You love because you can and want to!

• When you hope, you risk disappointment, and when you attempt anything, you risk failure. Yes, but standing still doesn't accomplish anything.

• When you fear death, you don't live. Life is a gift that we must learn to appreciate before it is too late.

If a man never takes a risk in his life, he is not really living. He can hide from pain and sorrow, but he cannot love, dream, or act. He is an eternal slave to his own existence.
